BroMenn Healthcare Volunteer Opportunities
"If there is any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not deter or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again." -- William Penn
Volunteers play a very special role in the exceptional health care provided by the BroMenn System—they reach out with their individual talents, skills and interests to help us meet the many needs within the system, help to solve problems, and assist patients, their families and visitors. Our philosophy is to take the skills and knowledge that people bring from their own life experience and transfer them into useful volunteer work.
We take the care placing our volunteers that an employer takes in selecting the right employee for a job. That is part of the benefits a volunteer receives from our program—knowing that they have been carefully matched with a department's needs. Volunteers can also expect to be trained in order to carry out their responsibilities.

BroMenn Service Auxiliary
The purpose of the BroMenn Service Auxiliary is to enlist the interest and support of community members for the activities of BroMenn Regional Medical Center. In addition to increasing efficiency, the members of the auxiliary who work as volunteers help to extend the hospitals' fields of service. The auxiliary raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for hospital equipment and services through businesses like the Atrium Cafe, Atrium Boutique, BroMenn Thrift Shop, and other sales and fundraisers. Auxiliary members receive many benefits, such as special luncheons, day trips and newsletters.
For more information about joining the BroMenn Service Auxiliary, call the BroMenn Foundation at (309) 268-5966.
