How Can You Help?

As a not-for-profit hospital, we are inspired by our mission of compassion, caring and service to the communities, patients and families who depend on us. However, our plan to address the growing healthcare needs of our community requires significant financial support.

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, but we can't do it alone. This is a pivotal time for advancing our community's healthcare, and BroMenn needs and deserves community support.

BroMenn Foundation's "Building on Excellence...rooted in Faith" campaign is designed to attract the community's philanthropic support and secure $10 million in gifts. Our hope is to exceed that goal -- for every $1 million we raise, we save $225,000 in interest payments for money that we borrow.  Contributions will be merged with other revenue sources to attain the $61 million needed to fund the project.

Your Involvement is Vital

BroMenn enjoys a record of sound financial management, but as a not-for-profit hospital, operating margins are narrow.

Many of BroMenn's important services, such as spiritual care, social work, community health education and adult day services are not reimbursable through insurance. However, we believe these services are a critical part of our mission.

With more people uninsured, the cost of providing charity care -- which doubled between 2005 and 2006 -- continues to grow.

The Future is Now

The total cost of the project is $61 million. This will fund the construction of a new 79,000 square-foot patient tower to house a new Mother Baby Unit and  Critical Care Unit.
