BroMenn's experienced professional therapy staff utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech/Language Pathology. BroMenn Regional Medical Center (BRMC) offers acute rehab, inpatient, outpatient and home health services. We have one of the area's only McKenzie credentialed Physical Therapists.
The 15-bed Acute Rehab Unit at BRMC provides treatment to patients who require intensive inpatient rehab services. The average length of stay is 10 days, with 80% of our patients discharged to home. Typical patient conditions include stroke, traumatic and non-traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, joint replacement, and other neurological disorders. Our other inpatient units include a 13-bed dedicated Neuroscience Unit, the only one of its kind in McLean County.
Eureka Community Hospital, another BroMenn facility, offers full services in PT, OT, SLP and Audiology, including school-based and Early Intervention programs. The Surgery Recovery Connection was recently launched at Eureka, providing a link between hospital and home for orthopedic surgery patients.
BroMenn's current employee complement includes 40 employees in PT, 18 in OT, and 8 in SLP. The average tenure for a rehab employee at BroMenn is more than 9 years.
