BroMenn's two-year family practice residency program is overseen by Timothy Buffey, D.O., program director.
Potential residents must conform to the following basic prerequisites:
- Graduate of a college of osteopathic medicine accredited by the AOA.
- Expected successful completion of all three sections of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) or the FLEX examination(s).
- Successful completion of an AOA-approved internship (OCGME-1).
- Active license in the state of Illinois.
Each family practice resident must pass the requirements each year, including an evaluation by the program director, before being allowed to advance to the next year.
