Parking Garage Remains Open During Construction

Construction to add two levels to BroMenn Regional Medical Center's MedPark 4 parking structure has begun.  MedPark 4 will remain open to patient and visitor parking throughout construction.

The project, when completed in February 2009, will add 256 parking spaces to the structure, for a total of 722.  While many spaces in MedPark 4 will be unavailable during the construction period, BroMenn is maximizing patient/visitor parking in the structure by relocating nearly all existing employee parking into the Medical Center's other parking lots along Main Street.

All visitors to the BroMenn campus continue to have the option to use the hospital's free valet parking service, which operates weekdays from 6:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  They may also park in the two-level MedPark 2 parking deck, located just west of the hospital.  BroMenn's Cardiopulmonary Rehab patients continue to have reserved parking in MedPark 2.

MedPark 4 was built in 1994 and is located at the north end of the BroMenn campus, with entrances off Virginia and Franklin avenues.  It is connected to the hospital and its adjacent medical office buildings through enclosed walkways, which will also remain open during construction.  When construction is completed, the structure's name will change to MedPark 6 to reflect the number of its parking levels.
