HeartCaring Event Set for Pontiac

BroMenn Spirit of Women is offering a free HeartCaring event focusing on women and heart disease on Monday, July 21, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., at the Pontiac Rec Center, 900 Elm Street, Pontiac.

The event will offer free screenings for non-fasting cholesterol and blood sugar, along with Body Mass Index measurements and blood pressure readings. At 6:00 p.m., Amy Zacharias, M.D., of BroMenn Medical Group's Town & Country Healthcare, will present a free "HeartCaring Women and Cardiovascular Disease" education session and will answer questions. Participants will learn more about how to protect their health at any age. Light refreshments will be provided.
