BroMenn Website Earns National Honors

The BroMenn Healthcare System's public website, www.bromenn.org, was recently recognized with national and international awards. 

The site received a "Gold" award in the category of "New Media - Multimedia Animation" and a "Bronze" award in the "Web Site/Home Page" category in Healthcare Marketing Report magazine's 25th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. 

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. A record number of over 4,400 entries were received in this year's competition, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition.  A national panel of judges was engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

The BroMenn site also received a "Platinum" Award for "Website Overall" in the 2008 Hermes Creative Awards.  Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. There were over 4,000 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the 2008 competition. The awards program is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, an international organization consisting of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, web and freelance professionals.

BroMenn partners with Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Geonetric and StayWell Custom Communications of Evanston, IL on the site, which was redesigned in January 2008.  The site contains information about the BroMenn system, as well as an extensive Health Library with multimedia tools.
