BroMenn, SIU Open Specialty Clinics
The BroMenn Healthcare System has partnered with Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine to establish new Specialty Clinics in Suite 180 of the BroMenn Physicians Office Building, 1300 Franklin Avenue, Normal.
The specialty clinics will provide care for Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric & Adult Allergy/Immunology patients. Each begins seeing new patients in January.
The Allergy/Immunology clinic opened January 8. Dr. Jeffery Lehman is the director of this clinic, which will see allergy, asthma and primary immunodeficiency patients on Thursday mornings each week. Dr. Lehman is a clinical assistant professor in Pediatrics at SIU. He is board certified in Allergy/Immunology, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and completed his Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He has special interest in treating patients with primary immunodeficiencies, asthma, exercise asthma, anaphylaxis and allergic rhinitis.
Dr. Ramzi Nicolas will see Pediatric Cardiology patients the fourth Wednesday of each month, beginning January 28. Dr. Nicolas is the director of SIU's Pediatric & Fetal Cardiology Division and is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. He also serves as director of echocardiology at St. John's Children's Hospital in Springfield, IL. Dr. Nicolas completed fellowships in pediatric cardiology and interventional pediatric cardiology at Washington University, St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He will provide comprehensive cardiology care, including catheterization and surgical care, for infants and children.
