BroMenn, SIU Open Infertility Clinic
The BroMenn Healthcare System and Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine have added an Infertility Clinic to their existing new specialty clinics located in Suite 180 of the BroMenn Physicians Office Building, 1300 Franklin Avenue, Normal.
The Infertility Clinic began seeing patients on February 4 and will be open the first and third Wednesdays of each month. The clinic specializes in the care of couples who struggle with infertility issues.
The clinic is led by fertility specialist Dr. J. Ricardo Loret de Mola. Dr. Loret de Mola is an Associate Professor and Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at SIU School of Medicine. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He previously served as chief of the reproductive endocrinology and infertility division at MacDonald Women's Hospital of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in Cleveland, OH. He also was director of the MacDonald fertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF) center and its laboratory.
The author of more than 90 scientific publications and six book chapters, Dr. Loret de Mola has served on several editorial boards or as a reviewer for various scientific publications, including Fertility Today, My Doctor, Fertility and Sterility, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Human Reproduction. He has received several research grants from, among others, the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the National Institutes of Health, and the Cleveland Research Institute.
