BroMenn's 22nd Annual Diabetes Update Planned

BroMenn Diabetes Services will hold its 22nd Annual "Diabetes Update" workshop on Saturday, April 19 from 8:00 a.m. to noon at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, 1304 Franklin Avenue, Normal.

The workshop will feature topics that aim to keep people with diabetes and their families informed about diabetes management. Representatives from different companies and organizations who have an interest in diabetes will be on hand to show their latest equipment.

There will be three speakers included in the workshop: Stephanie Sanborn, BS, Dietetic Intern, ISU Graduate Program will discuss "The Nutrition Facts Label: What are the facts?"; Cheryl S. Richards, MS, Exercise Physiologist, BroMenn Cardiopulmonary will discuss, "Being Active at Any Age"; and Bradley Gleason, MD, Illinois Neurological Institute Sleep Center will discuss "Sleep Apnea & Diabetes."
