BroMenn Opens Neurology Practice

August 10, 2007 - BroMenn Physicians Management Corporation (BPMC) has opened BroMenn Neurology Associates in the BroMenn Medical Office Building, 1302 Franklin Avenue, Suite 2100, in Normal, IL.

Caring for patients at the new practice is neurologist Sajjad Mueed, M.D., most recently of Natchez, Mississippi. Dr. Mueed completed his Neurology residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, Illinois. He went on to complete fellowships in Epilepsy & Clinical Neurophysiology and Stroke & Cerebrovascular Disease at the same institution.

Dr. Mueed is board-certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, Sleep Medicine, Vascular Neurology, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. His clinical skills include management of adult neurology, epilepsy, and sleep patients, and treatment of acute and chronic stroke patients. His diagnostic and intervention skills include Vagus Nerve Stimulator management for epilepsy, EMG and Nerve Conduction Studies, EEG monitoring and Sphenoidal Electrode Insertion, Sleep Studies, and Evoked Potentials.

He has begun seeing referred patients at his Franklin Avenue office.

Dr. Mueed, his wife Shahana and their two daughters are pleased to be joining our community.
