BroMenn Offers Hospice Volunteer Training

BroMenn Hospice Services is offering a free five-week Hospice Volunteer Training class beginning on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 5:30 -8:30 p.m. at the BroMenn Home Care Services Office, 1322-A S. Main St., Normal.
 
Volunteers will be trained on how to work with the hospice team and nurses to provide care for terminally ill patients and their families.  Services include companionship, running errands, helping with comfort measures, and providing clerical support in the office.  The class will meet on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., ending April 15.
